March Community Updates (New Website & Seminars)

March Community Updates (New Website & Seminars)

First, thank you to everyone who has been supporting our community, especially day one supporters. From Inclusion Design Lab to Rita Creative, from Rita Creative Lab to Rita Lab, we really appreciate your continued support.

Today, we're excited to show you what we've been working on for the last few months. Our team is super dedicated to providing you as much value as possible. We've also heard your feedback around our seminars. In this post, we'll outline what we've been working on that we hope will serve as the foundation of what's to come for the next year.

1. A Redesigned Rita Lab Website

We're so excited to introduce you to the newly redesigned Rita Lab website. You may have noticed that we've been slowly rolling out our new brand on social media. Today, we're making it official by applying our new brand to our website. From beige to black, from a single circle to a geometric design language, from a 2D brand to a 3D one, we hope you like the new Rita Lab look and feel.

Our updated brand reflects who we are, our founding story, and our mission. Over the next few months, we'll explain the rationale behind every branding decision. For now, know that this updated brand will take us into the future. The Rita Lab team has so much in store. We cannot wait to bring you more value, more seminars, more free events, more free resources, more free articles, and more community. We hope our new brand positions us to impact our community, your creativity, and culture in general.

There's so much more to come. For now, feel free to explore our new website! And if you have any feedback, we'd be happy to hear it! :)

2. An Exciting Rita Lab Seminars Update

For context, Rita Lab has traditionally hosted two seminars a month for tech and design beginners with a focus on diversity and inclusion. These seminars have been hosted during fixed one-time only fixed Eastern time zone sessions.

Due to this strategy, we've gotten consistent feedback from you - our community. First, how many of you can’t attend due to the time zone limitation. Second, how many of you would like the ability to view seminars on demand (aka replay seminars).

We hear you. We've heard you. Moving forward, we’ll be hosting all seminars on Thinkific. This will allow us to host two seminars a month where one will be live and the other will be available on demand all year-round.

To be the first to know when these new seminars drop, sign up to our Rita Lab newsletter by clicking here:

We can't wait for everything else we have in store! Follow us on Instagram @_ritalab and join our Rita Lab Discord server for even more updates! See you soon. Thanks for being here!
